Can pets stain or harm the grass? Artificial Grass is safe for pets and is very durable. In fact artificial turf is often used in pet resorts, pet hotels, veterinary clinics, animal shelters, and dog runs. Pet messes can easily be scooped up and rinsed away.

Sand is applied to the top of the grass and brushed down between the grass blades to provide support and help the fibers stand up. It also adds weight to the grass which helps prevent movement and wrinkling during drastic temperature changes.

Our turf comes with a full 15 year manufacturer's warranty that covers excessive fading, defects or abnormal degradation of the fibers.

We recommend the use of a leaf blower or a plastic rake to remove any debris that may collect on the grass. If you notice any dust or dirt accumulating on the grass you can use a hose to rinse the turf. If the fibers start to mat over after heavy traffic, a stiff bristled broom can be used to brush the turf fibers upright.

Each of the grass products are designed to drain approximately 30 gallons per square yard, per hour, so even the heaviest of rainfall should not cause a drainage problem.

In direct sunlight, the temperatures are comparable to sandy beaches and concrete patios. You can water down the yard to help retain moisture and keep your turf cooler in hotter weather.

That depends on how often you are watering your natural lawn and how large it is, but studies show that 50-70% of the household water is used on the landscape. So this is one way you can help do your part in conserving our precious resources. In the driest areas of the country, water rebates are available for homeowners who switch to a waterless landscape. Check with your local water authority to see if you are eligible for these rebates.
